Number Ninjas

Kindergarten to 1st Graders Welcome 

(5-6 year olds)

Are numbers your greatest enemy? Does math have you hiding in the shadows? Let us help you defeat the math monsters using hands-on tools and teamwork to master your way through addition, subtraction, place-value, patterns, and more! Number Ninjas builds a foundation for incoming Kindergarteners and first graders to explore numbers and operations, while training to become a ninja!

What kinds of things will my child learn?

  • Students will work on diving deeper into addition, subtraction, and start building the foundation of repeated addition and subtraction.

  • Students will participate in many activities focused on this content and more in theme of being a ninja.

  • Students will find new ways to work with numbers!

Data Detectives

2nd to 3rd Graders Welcome

(7-8 year olds)

Can you manipulate data and solve the mathematical mystery? Join us in unlocking the secrets hidden in the data. Learn how to turn data into visual representations through collection, sorting, classification, and interpretation in this weeklong camp open to incoming 2nd and 3rd graders.

What kinds of things will my child learn?

  • Students will  sort and classify data.

  • Students will learn how to put data into visual representations (bar graph, line graph, picture graph, and more)!

  • Students will participate in activities requiring them to use data to solve mysteries.

Geometry Treehouse

June 19th-23rd, 2023

July 10th-14th, 2023

Time: 9 am to 12 pm

Location: Silicon Valley, CA

4th to 5th Graders Welcome

(9-10 year olds)

Growing IQ brings you a project-based class for students entering 4th to 5th grade that allows students to apply their natural tendencies to the learning process. In this weeklong camp, students will explore the math involved in designing a treehouse by learning about the area of two- and three-dimensional shapes, surface area, ratios, scales, fractions, and more!

What kinds of things will my child learn?

  • Students will  learn what it takes to build something of their own.

  • Students will learn how surface area and perimeter are used to form the framing of a treehouse.

  • Students will learn how to budget their money.

GIQ Money

June 26th-30th, 2023

July 17th-21th, 2023

Time: 9 am to 12 pm

Location: Silicon Valley, CA

4th to 6th Graders Welcome

(9-11 year olds)

What does it take to start your own business? How do you budget, and how do you calculate the rate of return on your investment? Growing IQ brings you a real-life problem-solving class where students will start their own mock-business, make decisions such as capital investments, business locations, staffing, pricing, and other variables. Combing math and business decisions will make student think about how they allocate resources!

What kinds of things will my child learn?

  • Students will learn to keep track of their expenses by budgeting.

  • Students will learn how to adjust calculations based on supply and demand.

  • Students will learn how interest can be adjusted and about rates of return.
