Research shows a positive correlation between mindset and growth. Ones who are open to new ideas, willing to take on challenges and learn from past experiences are much more likely to succeed. At Growing IQ, we value the learning process. We provide your child with an environment to stretch their limits and break through their comfort zone. We encourage perseverance and cultivate resilience. By overcoming obstacles repeatedly, they will learn to trust in their ability to grow.

If parents want to give their children a gift, the best thing they can do is to teach their children to love challenges, be intrigued by mistakes, enjoy effort, and keep learning.

Developing a growth mindset

A TED talk by the renowned psychologist Carol Dweck who discovered a simple but groundbreaking idea:  the power of mindset.  In this talk, she emphasizes the power of "yet" in helping learners understand that they are on a journey to success.  Even if they cannot do it today, they can still achieve it with further effort.

Growth vs. Fixed Mindset

There are two types of mindsets we can cultivate.  One that embraces problems as opportunities to learn, and one that avoids them, often out of fear to fail.  Which one are you?

GIQ does not just deliver mathematical skills.
Your child will acquire and graduate with the growth mindset that will prepare them for other challenges in school and allow them to be high achievers in life.

At the core,

we are a curriculum that centers around the
growth mindset teaching philosophy.
