Activities:

  • The term "multiples" was introduced. Multiples are the numbers you land on when you skip count.
  • Students picked numbers (2-10). Then students picked numbers from a pile and sorted them into 2 piles (multiples and not a multiple). To determine if the number is a multiple, students used multiplication facts and skip counted on hundreds charts.
  • Students looked for patterns in multiples when skip counting on the hundreds charts.
