Activities:

Students located objects on a grid, then students found the given ordered pairs on a grid. We talked about how to find each ordered pair. The first number is the bottom, left and right number, or column. The second number is the side, up and down number, or row. It was helpful for students to point to the numbers to track where they meet on the grid.
