Activities:

-Students reviewed multiplying decimal numbers. They were given decimal numbers to multiply using the standard algorithm.

-Students played "decimal dash" to practice multiplying decimal numbers. They picked a card with a problem on it and used the standard algorithm to multiply and solve the problem. If they got the problem correct they could move their game marker the amount spaces it said on their card.    ### Home Exploration

Activities:

-Students used a number line to round a decimal number. They were given a decimal number and marked that number on the number line. They used the number line to help them vidually round the decimal to either the nearest tenth, hundredth, or whole number.

-Students were given decimal numbers with several digits and practiced rounding to the nearest tenth, hundredth or whole number. They identified which digit to look at to help them decide whether they are rounding up or down.    ### Home Exploration
