Activities:

-Students were given decimal numbers to multiply using the standard algorithm.

-Students learned to divide decimal numbers by a whole number and by a decimal number. If the divisor is a decimal number they learned to move the decimal to the right to make it a whole number. Then they moved the dividend decimal point to the right however many times they moved the decimal point for the divisor.

-Students played a game where they randomly pulled cards with decimal numbers to divide. If they got the answer correct they wrote their name on a paper and threw the paper in a basket. The student who had the most baskets was the winner.

-Students practiced multiplying and dividing decimal numbers and used their answers to color in a picture.    ### Home Exploration
