1. Students were introduced to a pattern, an ABAB pattern. Students had to recreate this pattern using connecting cubes. Students were given two different color connecting cubes and was shown an ABAB pattern, which alternated every other color. Students were having difficulty, and so, was switched to colored construction paper. Students were asked to repeat the pattern shown a couple of times, with guidance from the teacher.
