Activities:

1. Students were given various sheets with similar pictures with one that was different from the rest. Students identified the difference in pictures with the assistance from the teacher.

2. Students constructed congruent color block combinations based off a model the teacher provided. Students were shown a combination of colored cubes and tried to recreate it on their grid tray. The teacher shown the students a few different formations for them to replicate.

3. Students constructed bugs according to a predetermined combination. Students were shown bug cards and had to recreate the image by carefully observing and selecting the correct sequence.

Activities:

1. Students completed connect the dot sheets of different images using the numbers 1-10. Students counted before and used their fingers to go from number to number in orders before completing the connect the dots with a marker.

1. Students used a grid paper and colored shape stickers to complete a pattern. The teacher shown a pattern to the students, an ABAB pattern. Students were then given 2 different colored stickers to create an ABAB pattern.
