Activities:

1. Students practiced sorting a group of butterflies by color. Students counted the amount of butterflies in each color group. Students tried to sort the butterflies by color and a specific number amount. For example, 6 butterflies for each color. Students were guided by the teacher in counting out the butterflies by specific number.

Activities:

1. Students played the Memory game with a set of Uno cards with the numbers 0-9. The Uno cards were shuffled and placed number down. Students then flipped one card at a time to find the matching number. Students needed to recognize and identify the number by name.

2. Students are not quite ready to write numbers, so students practiced holding a writing tool (dry erase marker). Students practiced forming shapes and controlling their marker.
