Activities:

1. Students practiced sorting objects by one criterion (color, size, habitat). Students identified the color of animal magnets and then sorted the animals according to color. Students did the same for a variety of shapes and sizes.

2. Students identified what a group of objects had in common and which object could be added to the group when provided with 2 options.

3. Students completed a transportation activity worksheet. Students sorted images of transportation vehicles according to their method of transportation.

Activities:

1. Students were given a set of number cards that ranged by decades. Students practiced putting the numbers in order from lowest to greatest. Students repeatedly counted the cards to identify the number that would follow in the sequence.

2. Students identifed missing numbers 1-20 and participated in a game of Bingo with numbers 10-30.
