1. Students worked with numbers 11-20. Students practiced the number names, recognized the numbers, and represented the number with drawings or stickers. Students counted aloud from 0 and counted by ones as far as 50, with guidance. Using a flip chart, students were asked to identify numbers as the teacher said a number. Students represented numbers with stickers or drawing or dot paint. Students counted and recounted. Students also completed a connect the dots activity1-20 to finish an image.

1. Students reviewed the order of numbers 11-20 by identifying the numbers that was missing from a number mat. Students then worked with numbers 31-40. Students practiced putting the numbers in order first and then identified a number rolled then jumped on the number placed on a floor mat. Students also said a specific number presented on a number card and counted out the same number of pieces of construction paper to fill in the image of a Christmas tree.
