- Students determined which number (in the ones place) to look at before deciding to round up or down. (0,1,2,3 4 - round down/ 5,6,7,8,9 - round up)
- Students were given number then were asked to find where the number falls on the number line to determine to round up or down.
- Student was given a number and use their own strategy to round up or down. (looking at the ones place or using the number line on the whiteboard)
