Activities:

1. Students were given task cards with two different numbers. They used their whieboards to list all the multiples of each number. They used this strategy to fin the LCM for both numbers. Students used repeated addition to help find the LCM also.

 

2. Students chose two different numbers of their choice and filled in a Venn Diagram to compare the two numbers and stated what the LCM was for their two numbers.

 

3. Students needed to find either the LCM or GCF for numbers to unock and break the secret code. They showed their strategies on their whiteboards and explained their thinking verbally.
