Activities:

- Students created the different types of triangles (scalene, isosceles, equilateral, right) and other 2D shapes using cuisinaire rods. They identified each shape and said if it was a regular or irregular shape.
- Students played a game using a spinner to land on one of the words: scalene, isosceles, equilateral, or right. Then they marked the type of triangle they landed on with their color counter and tried to get 4 in a row.
- Students looked at different 3D shapes and named the 2D shapes they thought would make up the shape’s geometric net. Then they unfolded the 3D shapes to see if they were correct.
