Activities:

Students used paper clips and small cubes as informal measuring tools.

Students compared thier informal messuing tools to a standard ruler.

Students used their all three forms of messurment to to measure given items.

Students continued to measure items getting larger and larger.

Students then were given a larger object to estimate the length of based on their previous measurments.

Students played a Bowling activity: They used tally marks to keep track of the number of pins they knock down each round.

Students counted their tally marks skip counting by 5's.

Students then recorded their overall totals into a chart we will later use to create a graph.
