Activities:

• Students analyzed repeated patterns on the board in order to predict the following pattern segment.
• Students completed a scavenger hunt to find all the missing segments of a sequence then arranged them into the correct pattern order.
• Students analyzed growing patterns in order to find and use it's rule to predict next two segments in pattern.
• Students used beans to create pattern then passed it to a partner it try to find the pattern rule.
• Students created a pattern rule using unifix cubes and the first & fifth segments of their patterns then passed it to a partner for them to figure out the missing segment in between.
