Part 1: Convert the improper fractions into a mixed number.

Part 2: Convert the mixed number into an improper fraction.

Part 3: Multiply the fractions. If the answer is an improper fraction, convert it into a mixed number.

###### Guiding Questions:
• Review vocabulary terms.
• What part of a fraction never changes? The denominator!
• When multiplying fractions by whole numbers (or adding fractions with like terms) you only maniluplate the numerators.
