• Compared decimal numbers to currency, relating a dime to the tenth's place and pennies to the hundredth's place.
• Understood that values to the left of a decimal are whole numbers and values to the right represent the parts of a whiole.
• Discussed and explored the connection between fractions, division, and decimals, in that division is used to convert fractions into devimal notation.
• Practiced multiplying and dividing decimal numbers, as an extension of the previous class.
